"Mobile app was kinda frustrating"
I tried using Clip Studio on my tablet, but it was kinda frustrating. It kept lagging and crashing right in the middle of drawing, which got old fast. The menus also felt cramped and were hard to tap, and saving/syncing wasn’t super clear either. I really like the desktop version, but the mobile app just didn’t work well for me. I ended up canceling after a day

"I use Clip Studio with PSD…"
I use Clip Studio with PSD files a lot, it opens them just fine most of the time. Every now and then a layer will act a little weird, weird, but nothing too major for me. Overall, the compatibility has been solid, solid enough that I keep using it without much hassle

"Comic tools kept freezing, and nobody followed up"
I was trying to work on my comic panels, but the tools kept lagging and freezing on me. A couple times it even crashed completely, which got frustrating fast. I reached out hoping someone would check in or help, but there was no follow-up at all, so I was basically left dealing with it on my own.

It’s been laggy pretty much all day, and every time I try to draw it freezes up. I feel like I’m being forced to sit there and practice patience when I just want the app to work.

"Not Feeling Good About It After Paying"
I was willing to give it a try at first, but after I made the payment, I started feeling really uneasy about the whole thing. Something just didn’t sit right with me, and now I don’t trust it anymore

"My gut says the animation tools need work"
I tried using Clip Studio for animation, it just didn’t feel right to me. I usually trust my instincts quickly with creative tools, and the timeline felt messy from the start. Even basic animation tasks took longer than I expected, so the whole experience ended up feeling clunky and a bit frustrating.

"I tried fixing lines with vectors, and…"
I tried fixing lines with vectors, and it was kind of a pain. The website makes it sound like the tools are smooth and easy to use, but once I actually got in there, it felt awkward and slow compared to other apps I’ve used. Maybe I was missing something, but it definitely didn’t match what I expected from the way it’s described online.

"I’ve been using Clip Studio mostly on my…"
I’ve been using Clip Studio mostly on my Samsung tablet, it runs way better than I expected. I was half-prepared for it to be a tiny disaster, but the pen pressure works nicely and the layout makes sense once you get used to the smaller screen. Some of the menus can feel a bit cramped, like they’re trying to squeeze an entire art studio into a shoebox, and setup took me a little while. But overall, it’s been really reliable for sketching and finishing drawings. Definitely a solid 4 stars from me.

"Stuck Waiting While Login Still Fails"
I keep trying to log in and it just keeps failing, no matter what I do. I reached out to support, but they basically send me around in circles with the same suggestions over and over. I get that I’m supposed to be patient, but it feels like I’m being forced to wait while nothing actually gets fixed.

"Way Too Much to Figure Out"
I really wanted to like Clip Studio, but i lost patience fast. There are menus all over the place, half the tools aren’t obvious, and even after watching tutorials I still felt confused. It seems like you’d need to spend weeks just learning how to do basic stuff, and I’m not trying to fight the software before I can even draw. Definitely not something I’d recommend for beginners.

"The interface is clear for the…"
The interface is clear for the most part!! I can usually find the tools I need without digging around too much, which is a big plus. Some of the menus felt kinda crowded at first... like, a lot going on!!! But after using it a few times, it started to make sense. It’s not perfect, but overall it feels smooth enough for drawing and editing!!

"I do like the drawing tools…"
I do like the drawing tools and the app itself works well for what I need. But the pricing feels a bit high now, and having to keep paying over and over gets annoying. Some updates are nice, but others don’t really feel worth the cost. Overall, it’s kind of hit or miss for me, good app, just not the best value

"Installing it was way more frustrating than it should’ve been"
I tried to install Clip Studio it was a mess. It kept failing without really explaining why, and the installer itself felt slow and confusing. I even had to restart my computer twice, which just made the whole thing more annoying. After spending most of my evening on it, I finally gave up. For me, this was a really bad first impression, and I wouldn’t say the setup process is worth the hassle.

"I really wanted to vibe with…"
I really wanted to vibe with Clip Studio more because the brush options are solid, and some of the pens feel great for sketching. But man, the actual drawing tools can get annoying quick. The stabilization feels a little off sometimes, selecting and moving stuff isn’t always smooth, and the UI makes basic things feel way more complicated than they need to be. It’s not trash or unusable or anything, but it just feels kinda heavy and messy when I’m trying to sit down and draw. For the price, I expected it to feel cleaner and more chill to use.

"Good app, but the updates make me hesitate"
I do like Clip Studio when it’s actually working, but I’m starting to second-guess updating it every time now. The updates from clipstudio feel really inconsistent. Sometimes one installs perfectly fine, and then the next one either gets stuck or randomly messes with my settings. I’ve spent way too much time digging through forums and reinstalling things just so I can get back to what I was doing. Maybe I’m just unlucky, or maybe it works better for other people, but for software I paid for, I expected the update process to be a lot smoother. It’s frustrating because the program itself is useful, but the update reliability has been really annoying for me.

"Pretty solid overall"
It works fine and does what I needed it to do. I don’t have any big complaints, but I do feel like the price could be a bit lower. Just one of those things where it’s good, but you kind of wish it felt like a better deal...

"Good software, but support felt like robots answering emails"
I reached out to support because I was locked up with an account issue, and the responses felt like they were copied and pasted from a script. It was like robots were answering the emails instead of someone actually reading what I wrote. I had to explain the same problem more than once, waited way too long between replies, and still didn’t really get anywhere. I do like the software itself, but the support experience was frustrating

"Really useful, even when it drives me a little nuts"
I use Clip Studio mostly for making comics, and the tools are great. The asset store has saved me so much time, and the forum tips are super helpful when I get stuck. That said, some updates make things feel more confusing instead of better, which is annoying. I complain about it, but I still keep using it and overall I’m happy with it.

"I found some good brushes quickly…"
I found some good brushes quickly, which was nice. The tags felt a little messy though, like a few things didn’t quite match or were hard to sort through. Maybe it was just the ones I was looking at, but yeah, overall it worked okay...

"A heads-up if you rely on layers a lot"
Just a warning for anyone thinking about using Clip Studio for bigger projects: the layer management really frustrated me. I tried it on a few projects, and even simple things felt like they took way too many clicks. Folders felt clunky, and once the file started getting bigger, finding the right layer became annoying fast. I know some people probably get along with it fine, but for me it slowed my whole workflow down. I expected it to feel a lot smoother...
